Our cold air intake for the Ford Mustang GT was engineered to minimize air restriction and flow better than stock. The JLT Cold Air intake adds an impressive 25-30 average RWHP gain over stock. A aftermarket tune is required to run the intake!
Massive Air Filter.
With a large 5” opening on the tube, we needed a large filter. This kit comes with a massive, highly-efficient air filter which results in better performance and protects your engine.
Huge Intake Tube.
Featuring a huge rotomolded plastic intake tube in a black textured finish, that maximizes airflow on the dyno. No choke points or accordion-style bends as found in OE air intakes. Tube size at the MAF is 120mm and measures 4.5″ at the throttle body side in preparation for larger, after-market throttle bodies.
Rotomolded Heat Shield
Fully Rotomolded heat shield designed to keep inlet air temps as cool as possible. Cooler air mean better performance.
Tune Required
JLT has long been the leader in intakes for Mustangs. Applying years of knowledge, JLT has come out with a custom tune designed specifically for the JLT 5″ intake. The JLT Tuner made 31 HP and 37 lb-ft in the mid range and 17 HP peak to peak. Customers have already reported better gains than this power increase. This device comes preloaded with 4 credits, enough for 1 connection to the 18-23 GT, and comes with 1 custom JLT tune. Load the tune through your smartphone.
