2007-2008 – Complete systems are available for manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Complete, fully calibrated supercharging systems are available for the 2007-2008 4.6L 3V Mustang GT, featuring the NOVI 1200SL or NOVI 2200SL centrifugal supercharger with air-to-air charge cooler.
The complete high output system will boost your stock 2007-2008 Mustang GT to 470 HP and 420 lb/ft torque with 10 PSI from the NOVI 2200SL supercharger at the factory redline.
The 4.6L 3V Mustang GT systems utilize Paxton’s current line of NOVI superchargers. Continued development in Vortech’s Lab resulted in the 1200SL and 2200SL Models. With their state of the art centrifugal compressor stage, these Paxton NOVI Superchargers literally blow away the competition. Industry leading 78% adiabatic efficiency [SAE J1723 standard] means less heat is being generated, drive power is reduced and more net power is produced. Less heat also means better durability. Also, Paxton’s supercharger systems weigh less than half of the low-tech competing brands.
Superior Technology

Paxton supercharger systems are a great value. Dollar for dollar, Paxton systems deliver more horsepower than virtually any other method of upgrade. Also, driven normally, gas mileage often increases rather than decreases.
Complete System Included Components and Features
- – NOVI 1200SL compressor with 3.80″ drive pulley (Standard Output), NOVI 2200SL compressor with 3.40″ (High Output)
- – Manifold boost pressure: 8 psi (Standard Output), 10 psi (High Output) @ redline on stock engine
- – Supplied Diablosport In-Tune handheld programmer re-flashes the ECM with a safe, custom Paxton calibration for 91-octane fuel.
- – Fuel system upgrade includes high flow replacement fuel injectors, and 255lph “in-tank” fuel pump with harness; used in conjunction with the OEM in-tank pump to provide a dual-pump configuration.
- Air inlet assembly includes:
- – High-flow roto-molded ducting
- – Silicone sleeves with stainless steel clamps
- – 98mm MAF meter housing
- – High flow, conical-style air filter with heat shield
- – Diablosport MAF interface adapter for extended meter range
- – Engine coolant pipes and hose assembly
- – Billet aluminum supercharger mounting bracket assembly includes idlers, drive belt and all mounting hardware.
- – Integrated air/air charge cooler configuration allows for additional horsepower gains and features maintenance-free design (High Output Systems)
Installation
Installation time is rated at approximately 8-10 hours (Std. Output) or 12-14 hours (High Output).
CARB Compliance
Complete systems are 50-State Emissions Legal for some 4.6L Mustangs per California Air Resources Board (CARB).
2007 Systems No Longer Smog Legal
– 2007 Supercharging Systems produced after June 12, 2008 are not exempt. These systems are legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used, or registered or licensed for use, upon a highway (off-road use only). The manufacture, sale, offer for sale, or installation of this product may also be illegal under the federal clean air act (42 U.S.C. § 7522(A)(3)).
2008-2010 Systems Not Smog Legal in California
– 2008-2010 systems are NOT CARB legal, and are legal in California only for racing vehicles which may never be used, or registered or licensed for use, upon a highway (off-road use only). The manufacture, sale, offer for sale, or installation of this product may also be illegal under the federal clean air act (42 U.S.C. § 7522(A)(3)).
